Nearby, Seacliff State Beach is the perfect spot for all your celebrations, birthday parties, and picnics, with plenty of barbecue grills and shaded tables along the sand. Just south of Seacliff, Rio Del Mar State Beach is another great spot for dog lovers. If you're looking for more pet-friendly activities, look no further than Aptos’ “World’s Shortest Parade” on the Fourth of July morning which includes nearly every Aptos resident (and everyone's pets) dressed in red, white and blue splendor, and which ends at Aptos Village Park with live music and more fun.
